About Us

Hello, we would like to introduce ourselves.  We are the Attaway family from Greenville, SC.  We are a family of six with a broad age range.  Sidney is our oldest at 21 and attends Charleston Southern University.  He works out with the womens basketball team to help make them successful on the court.  He is majoring in Youth Ministry.  Ashley is 19 and attends Clemson University where she is a member of the Clemson Band as a Tiger Dancer.  She is majoring in Sociology and Psychology.  Noah is 15 and just earned his drivers permit.  He attends Wade Hampton High where he is a freshman. Noah plays basketball for Aldersgate UMC where we attend.  Hannah Grace is 8 and in the third grade at Lake Forest Elementary.  She loves dolls and all things girly and she also loves her Ipod and singing.  Pam and I have been married for 26 years after dating for 7 years.  Our faith has been the foundation of relationship since the beginning.  We know God has great things in store for us and we continue to try and be faithful everyday.

God placed on our hearts a few years ago that missions would be a huge part of our life.  After being involved in short term missions for over 15 years, God has led us to take up his mission in a least reached area of the world.  Our mission is to go and love, share and serve the people of Thailand, more specifically the in the North East in a community of Roi Et.

We are currently fund raising for the 5 year commitment we have made to this ministry.  With the support of our home church, many individuals, family members and other churches, we have nearly 50% of the needed support to leave for Thailand.  We are commissioned as missionaries through The Mission Society in Norcross, GA. (You can find more information about them at www.themissionsociety.org).

It has been amazing to watch this whole process unfold with our family from the beginning.  It has not always been easy but there has been a calming and peace that let us know God was there with us.  We have asked for signs and God has provided.  He has brought many people in our paths to encourage and affirm us.  Noah and Hannah Grace are excited about the opportunity to live in another culture and be a witness to many people their ages who have never heard the about Jesus Christ. Sidney and Ashley will stay in the United States to complete their studies and then join us as they are able.

We hope you will follow us on this journey and support us in whatever ways possible.
