On The Move

Time for an update!!!  We have been speaking each week in June and are grateful for each opportunity.  We  have been blessed by so many of the people we have met, their stories, their songs, their hospitality and their willingness to allow us to be a part of their lives and family.  As all of this has taken place we have added new partners and are now at 77% of our budget needs.  Thank you to everyone for your support and partnership for helping us reach this level.  We are prayerful that this summer we will get the 23% we need to leave for Thailand   Now is the time to partner with us if you feel led to support this ministry. That is only 18 partners at $100 a month to be fully funded to start ministry! Any financial gift is appreciated.
Noah is now enrolled in the SC Virtual School.  He will be able to take his classes online either live or from a recorded session.  In the end he will end up with a SC diploma, just as if he had been at Wade Hampton High.  Hannah Grace will be home schooled.  We are in the process of getting all of her classes and requirements arranged.  They will both begin school in August here in the States.
We are scheduled to go to the last training at Missionary Training Institute in Colorado in September.  This will be an intense month of preparation and includes skills to assist with language acquisition.  In October we will return to Greenville and plan to leave for Thailand early November.
There is so much to do to prepare; renting our home, getting rid of most of our possessions, shots, visas, copies of documents (including college diplomas. clean bill of health, marriage licenses, etc...).  It can be overwhelming, but we feel God's presence during this time.  Things seem to be falling into place.  When we feel the anxiousness creep up, God always seems to answer it with his peace and assurance.  Please continue to be with us on this journey.  So many of you are praying, supporting us financially and just being there as our friends.  You will never know how much that means to us.  We cannot answer this call without you!
Sidney has been working as a Adventure Specialist at Camp Greenville this summer and is having a great experience.  Ashley is working at United Ministries in Greenville and is blessed to have this opportunity.  We pray their transitions back to Charleston Southern and Clemson go smoothly.  We are hoping for help with their airfare or transfer of miles so that they will be able to visit us in Thailand either over Christmas break or next summer. Please continue to pray for them as we move closer to our departure date.
Great things are happening in Thailand.  Reports from the ministry there are the team held their first Bible study in their home, along with a worship night.  Several weeks ago 125 children came to the Christian Learning Center for the program.  In fact, due to space and limited resources to get the students to the center, they had to limit the number of kids.  This encourages us to get to Thailand!  The Lord is really moving through the hearts of the Thai students the team can use more help.  Please keep them in your prayers.
We will keep you informed every step of the way.  Thanks for reading and for your support.
In his love,
The Attaways
